The
year-on-year inflation in the DRC stands at 18.35% as of the 3rd of July 2011. If
this trend is confirmed, the inflation should reach 27% in December. With a
Central bank prime rate of 29.5%, the real interest remains high (in comparison
to Eurozone or the US) at 11.15%.
